The PLC Detroit x VF Footwear Design Certificate Program offers an immersive 8-week virtual experience for aspiring designers interested in the future of footwear.

recognized brands, this program introduces participants to real-world product creation, brand storytelling, and modern design standards within the footwear industry.
This experience is designed to prepare emerging talent for meaningful opportunities—both within VF and across the broader design landscape—
through hands-on learning, professional exposure, and a focus on sustainability and culture-driven design.
